RAS Plant Based is a Brooklyn, New York restaurant founded by husband and wife Romeo and Milka. Rooted in purpose, passion, and faith, the brand brings people together through food, culture, and thoughtful hospitality. Its approach is a bold reinterpretation of Ethiopian flavors: rather than recreate traditional dishes or follow fixed labels, RAS reworks Ethiopia’s deep, complex flavors in unexpected ways. The restaurant’s plant-based cooking is complemented by vibrant murals and a warm ambiance, reflecting its commitment to community and culinary excellence.
Kindness and hospitality are central to RAS’s mission. The team aims to create meaningful experiences that foster connection, dignity, and belonging, while approaching its work with care and a commitment to excellence. RAS is kosher certified and offers menus for guests dining at the restaurant, as well as online ordering for pickup and local delivery. Its services also include catering for groups of varying sizes and reservations. Guests can further engage with the brand through gift cards and its rewards program.
