Ratec

Ratec Motorsport Inc. is a Christchurch-based motorsport club operating under the umbrella of Motorsport New Zealand. It welcomes members interested in a range of grassroots motorsport activities and organizes events for competitors at different levels of experience. Its program includes navigation rallies, autocrosses, trials, hillclimbs, shingle sprints, sealed sprints, and the Ashley Forest Rallysprint. The club also shares event calendars, results, club points, championship and trophy information, and details for competitors and spectators.

Membership costs $40 per year and allows members to compete in Ratec Motorsport events as well as events run by other car clubs. The club’s website provides an online membership application, information about what is required to compete, event updates, and a gallery featuring its motorsport activities. Regular events contribute points toward club trophies and the overall Club Championship, including awards for autocross, hillclimb, speed, trials, and motorsport weekends. Ratec Motorsport also offers email notices for those who want updates. The club is based in Christchurch and can be contacted by email or post.
