RateYourDaycare is a childcare discovery and review platform helping families compare licensed daycares across Ontario and Quebec. Its directory includes more than 10,000 listings in over 1,200 cities, with location-based search and browsing by city. Parents can explore daycare profiles and compare ratings, reviews, programs, and licensing details to help them make informed decisions.

The platform distinguishes official information from parent experiences. Licensing status and program details are drawn from provincial childcare licensing records, while reviews are submitted by parents who sign in before posting. Listings can include care options such as full-day, half-day, before-school, and after-school programs, depending on the daycare. Families can browse centres in major cities including Toronto, Montréal, Ottawa, Mississauga, Québec City, and Laval, as well as explore guides and suggest a daycare. Parents are also invited to review their child’s daycare, sharing feedback with other families. RateYourDaycare presents itself as a resource for finding childcare information and parent perspectives, while noting that ratings reflect reviewers’ opinions.
