Lüdenscheid is a vibrant city that prioritizes its citizens through accessible services and resources, particularly in times of crisis. Due to a cyberattack on its IT service provider, the city administration is temporarily using an emergency website to provide essential information and support for its residents. This official platform offers an array of online services, including access to the citizen's portal, civil registry, construction services, and contact details for various municipal departments.

For those seeking assistance, the central hotline is available at 02351 17-0 to guide residents to the appropriate services. The local tourism information center in the Jürgen-Dietrich-Forum is open during select hours throughout the week, ensuring that community needs are met efficiently. Furthermore, timely updates are shared via the city's Facebook channel and newsletter subscriptions. Despite recent challenges, Lüdenscheid remains dedicated to serving its community and ensuring effective communication through its emergency online service portal.
