RatherFly

RatherFly is a flight-planning service for general aviation pilots, created to answer the question, “Where can we fly today?” It turns the spirit of geocaching into an aviation experience, helping pilots find worthwhile destinations and a reason to get airborne. Members receive flight missions called JAUNTS, tailored to how they like to fly and the aircraft they use. Each JAUNT identifies a place to fly, an action to take or trinket to find, and a special code.

Some missions may include time limits for participants competing for prizes and promotions; other pilots can complete them when their schedules and the weather allow. RatherFly aims to reduce the time spent choosing a destination while encouraging pilots to fly regularly, build experience, and strengthen their aviation skills. The service offers a free subscription to get started, with a first JAUNT expected within minutes.

Members can receive new missions by completing the previous one. RatherFly is currently in beta and invites pilots to join or create a JAUNT
