York Composite Cycling Club (YC3), also known as Rattler Cycling, is a student mountain biking team serving students in grades 6 through 12 from the York, Pennsylvania area. A sanctioned team in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League (PICL) and the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), YC3 welcomes riders of all skill levels and promotes safety, inclusion, teamwork, and enjoyment of the outdoors.
The club’s regular season runs from July through October, with two or three weekly practices, commonly held at York County Parks. Sessions combine mountain biking skills and endurance activities to prepare riders for PICL races in September and October. Volunteer coaches are licensed by NICA/PICL, and certified parents can support team practices and operations. Riders may also take part in Teen Trail Corps, a NICA and IMBA partnership focused on youth involvement in trail stewardship and community efforts.
