Rauhhaarteckel vom Königstein

Rauhhaarteckel vom Königstein is a small-dog breeding kennel based in the Sächsische Schweiz region of Germany, at the foot of Königstein Fortress. The kennel breeds miniature wire-haired dachshunds, known in German as Zwerg-Rauhaarteckel. Its approach emphasizes the dogs’ distinctive combination of affectionate companionship and strong hunting instinct.

Puppies grow up in a spacious natural setting and the kennel’s own hunting grounds. From their first month, they are introduced playfully to a range of sights and scents, helping them become familiar with the world around them. The breeder aims to raise healthy, confident, capable, alert and people-oriented dogs that are well socialized with other dogs. These dachshunds are presented as companions for everyday life as well as for hunting.

The website provides information for prospective puppy buyers, including a puppy section, contact details, a purchase contract, and legal and data-protection information. Rauhhaarteckel vom Königstein focuses on preparing its dogs to become well-adjusted companions suited to life with people and, where appropriate, work in the field.
