About Roadmap for Women and Youth Development
RAWYOD is a youth-led independent development and humanitarian non-profit organization that aims to protect the rights of women, youth, and children. With a focus on community development, RAWYOD works to motivate, organize, and unite people in improving basic livelihoods for all. Their work centers around four thematic areas: Environment, Education, Health, and peace building.
RAWYOD believes in the power and potential of every woman, youth, and child. However, these potentials are often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion, and discrimination. Through various community activities, such as peace-building mechanisms and the prevention of violence and conflict in Northeast Nigeria and beyond, RAWYOD strives to create a safe environment for peaceful coexistence.
