RBSL

Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) is a UK-based defence engineering company that designs, manufactures and supports military vehicles for the British Army and international customers. Its operations span sites in Telford, Gateshead, Bristol and Bovington, where a workforce of more than 700 people includes over 300 engineers. RBSL develops advanced products and manufacturing capabilities, and provides in-service support intended to help protect people and national security.

Its portfolio covers artillery, wheeled and tracked vehicles, military bridging, and protection and survivability. Products include the AS90 artillery system; Boxer and Pinzgauer wheeled vehicles; and tracked platforms such as Challenger 2, Warrior, Bulldog, Terrier, Titan, Trojan, CRARRV and CVR(T). The company also offers field support, post-design services, spares and repairs, as well as modular bridging systems. RBSL’s work includes the Boxer programme and development of Challenger 3, alongside investments in testing capability. Through engineering, manufacturing and lifecycle support, the company contributes to the delivery and maintenance of land-based defence equipment.
