RBushman Traditional Tae Kwon Do is a family-oriented martial arts school based in Newtown, Ohio, dedicated to teaching traditional Tae Kwon Do and improving lives through training since 1972. Led by Grand Master Roy Bushman, a ninth-degree black belt in the Song Moo Kwan tradition, the school draws on a lineage of instructors and martial arts leaders extending from Okinawan and Korean masters to the present day. Its team includes experienced black belt instructors, with additional affiliated martial artists and schools in Ohio, Florida, and Michigan.
RBushman offers Tae Kwon Do instruction for children in a safe, supportive environment, with students encouraged to progress at their own pace. Training is designed to develop confidence, focus, agility, patience, coordination, and perseverance, alongside technical skill and discipline. The school emphasizes clear instruction, personal attention, respect, and understanding how and why techniques are used. Families are encouraged to support children through the journey toward black belt, which typically takes about three years.
