RolstoelBasketbal Vereniging Middelburg (RBVM) is a wheelchair basketball club based in Middelburg, serving players across Zeeland. The club welcomes people of all backgrounds, ages and abilities, including athletes with amputations, spinal cord injuries, muscle conditions, hypermobility or visual impairments, as well as parents and former able-bodied basketball players. Members take part at their own level, with enjoyment at the heart of the experience.
RBVM offers a friendly, accessible way to discover wheelchair basketball. Newcomers can use the club’s sports wheelchairs during their first training sessions, and RBVM can help members apply for a chair of their own when needed. Training takes place on Mondays from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Sporthal De Sprong in Middelburg, except on Christian public holidays.
The club fields three teams in national competition: RBVM 1 in the Eredivisie, RBVM 2 in the first division and RBVM 3 in the second division.
