About The Shiranee Joseph de Saram Foundation
The Rehabilitation Center for the Communication Impaired (RCCI) is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1993. It is Sri Lanka's first dedicated rehabilitation center and school for children and adults with communication disabilities. RCCI aims to create a more inclusive world by providing vocational and life skills training, as well as education for individuals with intellectual and communication disabilities.
They offer various services, including an assessment program, a school readiness program, a day center, vocational training, and independence training. The RCCI also integrates speech and language therapy into their teaching program to develop social communication skills and promote integration into society. With 29 years of experience, RCCI is committed to empowering individuals with special needs to reach their full potential for independence.
