Richards and Coleman Family Foundation

Richards & Coleman Family Foundation, Inc. (RCFF) is a family-led charitable organization established in 1998. It honors the Richards and Coleman family legacy while supporting education and community development, particularly in Clay-Ashland and other parts of Liberia. The foundation works to fund educational and basic institutional needs, including public clinics and development activities.

Its education initiatives include projects at William D. Coleman High School and Christian A. Richards Elementary School. The foundation’s website documents a new school roof, running water, donated desks, and renovation work, alongside photographs of students and family activities.

RCFF supports its mission through fundraising events, awards, and family gatherings. Its 2024 awards dinner raised $18,000 for the foundation’s objectives and recognized recipients for accomplishments in leadership, arts, community service, patriotism, education, entrepreneurship, engineering, and humanitarian work. The organization also hosts annual meetings and reunions, both in person and virtually, to connect family members, share updates, and celebrate graduates.
