Golf Canada

Golf Canada is the national sport federation and governing body for golf in Canada, representing 375,000 golfers and member clubs across the country. Its work supports participation and excellence in the sport, from helping people discover golf to guiding competitive players. Golfers can use Golf Canada’s course-finding resources, mobile app and Golf 101 guides, and join through membership to access a Handicap Index, equipment and travel incident protection, and partner and event offers. The organization also provides rules and handicapping resources, education, and support for member clubs.

Golf Canada organizes and promotes competitions including the RBC Canadian Open, the CPKC Women’s Open and the World Junior Girls Championship. Its high-performance programs support Team Canada, Olympic golf and Canadians competing on tour. Other initiatives include junior development, She Plays Golf, women in coaching, safe sport, and programs focused on diversity, equity and inclusion. Golf Canada also operates the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame, offers a fan shop, and provides opportunities to volunteer, follow the sport and support golf through donations.
