The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) is an inter-governmental organization that promotes sustainable development in member states. Established in Nairobi, Kenya in 1975 under the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the African Union, RCMRD provides a wide range of services and products related to geo-information and allied technologies. RCMRD offers engineering services, including remote sensing, geodesy, and cartography.
They also provide training programs, both online and offline, on topics such as mapping, census data, and professional development.
