Rutland County Parent-Child Center (RCPCC) is a community-based organization serving families in Rutland County, Vermont. Guided by the belief that strong families build strong communities, it provides integrated “Whole Family” services designed to remove barriers, promote stability, and help people thrive. Its programs include early childhood education and childcare, literacy support, playgroups, Children’s Integrated Services, family education, and home visits. RCPCC also offers perinatal support through Welcome Baby, 24/7 Dads, trauma-informed yoga, tobacco cessation, and benefit assistance. Food access is part of its work, including Pleasant Street Market and related community support.
RCPCC emphasizes relationships built on dignity, respect, trust, compassion, and consistency. Its childcare programs serve infants and toddlers, with educators supporting children’s learning, behavior, and individual needs. The organization is developing a future two-generation site and Chaplin Campus intended to bring families together and provide educational, wellness, and community services. Families and community members can also connect through events, volunteer opportunities, donations, and other ways to support its programs.
