About UNESCO
The UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE) was established on October 21, 2014, under the auspices of UNESCO and through an agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and UNESCO. The center aims to promote a culture of quality and excellence in Arab educational institutions by developing supportive policies based on global best practices. The focus is on continuous improvement in educational services and enhancing the quality of education outcomes in the Arab world.
Through a collaborative effort with regional and international partners, the center offers research programs, capacity building, consultations, and knowledge dissemination services. By engaging experts and specialists in educational quality and excellence, the center contributes to the continuous development of educational systems in the Arab world, ultimately empowering Arab individuals to play a significant role in global civilization through quality education and distinction.
