The Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children (RCSAC) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization established in Uzbekistan in September 2004 by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution. It works with public authorities, civil society institutions, and other organizations to advance children’s welfare and social inclusion. Its work addresses the needs of children with disabilities, children without parental care, children facing social or legal risks, and gifted children.

The Center offers information and consulting support, including assessment by qualified medical specialists and recommendations for further assistance. For children with developmental or other health-related needs, specialists can develop an individual plan for habilitation and rehabilitation, with additional diagnostic evaluation when appropriate. The organization also develops educational and developmental programs and organizes learning activities for socially vulnerable children, young people, and their parents. Its broader activities include support on children’s rights and social welfare, creative development for young people, and inclusive education initiatives. The Center’s regional branches include locations in Fergana, Samarkand, and Karshi, and it publishes the Bola va Zamon journal.
