RDA Yokohama is a nonprofit organization that uses horseback riding to help people with disabilities and others involved in its activities enjoy richer social lives. Its mission is to create a welcoming place where people can share the joy of horses and riding. Building on the experience of its predecessor organization, founded in 1996, RDA Yokohama puts safety first and works to ensure that each participant can enjoy riding with confidence and peace of mind.
The organization offers regular lessons for members on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, as well as trial sessions for people considering joining. It also holds a free, monthly lead-rein riding experience, giving visitors an opportunity to meet and ride a horse. Alongside its riding programs, RDA Yokohama welcomes volunteers and invites public support through donations. The organization shares activity schedules, event announcements, and reports to help participants and supporters stay informed. Its activities take place at the Mitsuzawa Park Equestrian Practice Ground in Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama.
