About RDVEGTC
RDV EGTC is a nonprofit cooperative organization established in 2011, based in Tatabánya, Hungary. It comprises five member municipalities, including the founding Bratislava Region, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom, as well as joining members from the Pest County and Bratislava Region. This organization aims to enhance economic, social, and territorial cohesion through cross-border collaboration among its members. RDV EGTC is actively engaged in a variety of projects and initiatives, focusing on areas such as sustainable development, social inclusion, and youth empowerment within the eco-production sector.
Among its prominent initiatives is the Small Project Fund catering to the Western Programming Area designed to foster regional cooperation in the food industry and promote the silver economy. RDV EGTC emphasizes creating partnerships that improve living standards along the banks of the Danube, fostering a collaborative spirit, and ensuring adherence to legislative regulations while enhancing regional competitiveness. This cooperative framework is vital for reinstating historical ties and responsibilities between Hungary and Slovakia.
