Litopia

Litopia is an online writers’ community that describes itself as the world’s oldest online writers’ colony. Its platform brings authors together to share work, exchange ideas, develop their craft, and build a presence as writers. Members can create author profiles and publish blog posts, with forums and community discussions covering writing, publishing, books, poetry, fiction, and the experiences of literary life.

The site also features writing prompts and reflections, craft conversations, publishing news, competitions and deadline notices, as well as events such as regular writers’ huddles. Help resources and account options support members in using the platform, while gift tokens provide another way to engage with the community. Litopia presents itself as both a social home for writers and a practical author platform, connecting emerging and established writers through discussion, peer support, and shared opportunities.

Its content is shaped by member contributions, including blogs, forum threads, event updates, and news relevant to authors
