About Ready Aiders Foundation
Ready Aiders Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded by student leaders from Dagoretti High School in 2014. The organization started as a school club dedicated to instilling compassion, friendliness, and giving in its members. The founding team made significant changes within their school to ensure that underprivileged students had access to school supplies, pocket money, and transportation.
This led to a positive impact on the school culture, resulting in a decrease in theft, indiscipline, and depression. After graduating, the founding team expanded Ready Aiders' mission to their communities. The focus shifted towards supporting disabled individuals and empowering women through digital skills training.
Ready Aiders Foundation provides free occupational, physical, physiotherapy, and speech therapies to people with disabilities. They also offer education and learning programs, economic empowerment initiatives, and nutrition programs. Their goal is to raise awareness, find solutions, and empower persons with disabilities and women and girls from vulnerable backgrounds.
