REAKTA is a sports-training technology brand developing GHOST, an autonomous robotic training partner designed to bring the unpredictability of game situations into practice. Rather than staying fixed like a traditional cone, GHOST moves across the training floor, tracks an athlete’s position and responds to their actions. The system can simulate offensive or defensive movement, from driving at an athlete to closing off a lane, and can be adjusted for repeatable drills or more unpredictable sessions.

Built around motor-learning science, REAKTA aims to help athletes practise reading, deciding and reacting under pressure, rather than simply repeating a memorised sequence. GHOST can run queued drills, reset between repetitions and return to its base, allowing athletes to train independently and coaches to focus on their players. It also records measures including reaction, acceleration, change of direction and separation for each repetition.
