Realm Kinetics is a London-based gaming technology startup developing Doungim, a tabletop role-playing game console designed to bring digital tools to the physical gaming table. Created for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Starfinder, Cyberpunk RED, OSR, HeroQuest and homebrew games, Doungim supports both new and experienced players.

The console combines real dice and miniatures with a living digital map. Its built-in camera reads dice and tracks miniatures, while digital features provide fog of war, lighting and visual effects. A second screen can display character portraits, scenes and remote players, and the built-in computer means no laptop is needed. Doungim is designed for in-person, remote, hybrid and solo play.

Realm Kinetics also develops software and tools to support game masters, including assistance with calculations, initiative and notes while leaving the GM in control. Accessibility features include captions, subtitles, read-aloud options and sensory controls. The company’s growing library of game assets pays artists when their work is used, and a purpose-designed carry case makes the console easier to transport.
