About REAL School Budapest
REAL School Budapest is an independent, not-for-profit international learning environment that offers a unique educational experience. Their mission is to educate for sustainability, focusing on real-life, entrepreneurial learning to empower students to dream and build a more beautiful, equitable, and sustainable world. The school is open to international students aged 5 to 14 and is fully licensed by the Hungarian Ministry of Human Capacities.
It has also received Patron's Accredited Member status from the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), ensuring a high-quality British education. REAL School is the only school in Hungary and one of only 22 globally to receive this level of accreditation. The founding family of the school, Barna Baráth and Viktória Szemerédy, were inspired by their experiences at Green School in Bali, Indonesia.
They wanted to create an educational community in Hungary that focuses on developing skills, mindset, and adaptability, rather than just content. With a dedicated team of educators and support staff, REAL School Budapest is committed to providing an engaging and transformative learning environment.
