The Real Work is a therapy collective in Beaverton, Oregon, supporting children, teens, parents, and families through compassionate, play-based and neuro-relational care. Its services include play therapy for children, pediatric occupational therapy, therapy for ages 11–18, and therapy and coaching for parents. The team works with families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression and other mood changes, grief, family transitions, relationship challenges, ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and emotional regulation concerns.

Sessions use play, movement, expressive arts, and, where appropriate, nature-based approaches to help clients build coping skills, connection, confidence, and resilience. The Real Work also offers outdoor therapy, special-interest groups for neurodivergent children, social groups, drama activities, and summer camps. Services are available in person at two Beaverton locations and through telehealth.

The collective includes independent clinicians and employed team members, and highlights training in child development, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology. Its approach aims to support children’s growth while helping parents feel more connected and equipped in family life
