Recanto Nosso Lar

Associação Beneficente Recanto Nosso Lar is a nonprofit philanthropic institution in Catanduva, São Paulo, dedicated to sheltering older women, especially those living with Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions. Guided by volunteer commitment, the organization provides residents with appropriate medical care, material assistance, and spiritual support, alongside compassion and dignity. Its services are offered regardless of religious or political beliefs or socioeconomic circumstances.

The institution’s mission is to care for older women with Alzheimer’s, while its vision is to become a reference and model for this kind of support. Since its founding in 1994, Recanto Nosso Lar has welcomed more than 400 older women and currently houses 40 residents, aged between 60 and 100.
