About Recantos na Portela
Recantos na Portela is a rural accommodation located at Quinta da Portela in Goães, Amares, in Portugal’s Braga district. Set amid the natural landscapes of Minho, it offers a peaceful stay about 30 minutes from Braga and close to Peneda-Gerês National Park. The property brings together rural character and modern comfort in three reconstructed houses, including two former farmhouses and a building adapted from a traditional drying house.
Guests can choose Casa dos Cereais, a one-bedroom T1 for up to two people; Casa do Linho, a two-bedroom T2 for up to four; or Casa da Lavoura, a three-bedroom T3 for up to six. Each house includes bedrooms with private bathrooms, while the ground floor provides a kitchen and shared living area; the larger homes also have an additional bathroom.
Recantos na Portela provides a base for relaxing in the countryside and exploring nearby attractions, including Ermal River Beach, the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Abadia, São Bento da Porta Aberta and Peneda-Gerês National Park.
