Recoil reduction

Recoil Systems designs and manufactures recoil-reduction and comfort accessories for shotgun shooters, with products aimed at both amateur and professional users, including club and competition shooters. Founded by engineer and tool maker David Izzard, the company grew from his search for an effective way to manage recoil and improve shooting consistency. Its original ISIS Recoil Reducer launched in 2001, followed by lighter designs and further refinements.

The range includes the ISIS II Light Recoil Reducer in standard and semi-automatic versions, which uses a miniature shock absorber to reduce the impact of recoil. Shooters can also choose the ISIS Comb Raiser, designed to lift the comb and maintain eye-to-rib alignment, or the Adjustable XPad and ISIS XPad recoil pads, which support a more comfortable, consistent gun mount. These accessories can be used individually or alongside the recoil reducer. Recoil Systems develops its products using engineering materials and design, with the aim of reducing discomfort and helping shooters maintain comfort, accuracy and consistency during extended sessions.
