Record Holders Republic (RHR) was founded in 2001 by Dean Gould, a holder of over 40 World Records, out of a concern for unrecorded world records. RHR serves as a Governing Body for World Record Holders and Record Breakers. The name "Republic" was inspired during a trip to the Republic of Ireland, representing the values Gould wanted to associate with.
Gould's vision led to the creation of The Book Of Alternative Records and a strong team including Phil Gould, Ralf Laue, and others. RHR offers record holders personalized congratulations letters, signed photos, certificates, and boasts a rapidly growing database of record holders. Additionally, RHR has expanded its reach to the US, with David Adamovich as the President, and featured on various TV shows and media outlets.
