Recovery Connections

Recovery Connections supports people in the North East of England who have experienced problems with drugs or alcohol and want to move towards a better life. The organisation views recovery as more than stopping substance use: it is also about rebuilding life on your own terms, finding new meaning, reconnecting with others and becoming part of your community again. Its approach is shaped by the lived experience of recovery within its team, which it draws on to help people find a way forward that works for them.

Recovery Connections offers support and guidance for people at different stages of this journey, with information about how it can help and the areas it serves available through its website. People can make contact by phone or by using the online contact form to discuss support. The organisation also shares updates through its blog and provides information about its team, partnerships and opportunities to join or support its work
