Recovery Dharma Chicago offers a unique, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery, focusing on healing from various addictions, including substance abuse and behavioral issues such as codependency and technology dependence. As a local chapter of the national Recovery Dharma non-profit, the organization utilizes practices such as meditation, self-inquiry, wisdom, and community support to empower individuals on their recovery journeys.

The Chicago chapter hosts meetings throughout the week, providing a welcoming space for those seeking solace and connection in their recovery processes. A notable initiative includes the Sacred Circle for the WORD, a supportive gathering for women and those identifying as women, encouraging deep reflection and mutual support. Recovery Dharma Chicago also shares valuable resources from the national network, including a comprehensive recovery guide and a variety of meeting materials, to aid participants. Funded through community donations, Recovery Dharma Chicago is dedicated to extending their reach to those in need of recovery assistance, fostering a compassionate community focused on healing and personal growth.
