RedAracne

ARACNE NODUS is a research network focused on digital humanities and Hispanic literature. Founded in 2012 as the Red Aracne de Humanidades Digitales y Letras Hispánicas, it grew from collaboration among research projects seeking shared approaches to concepts, methods, visibility and technology. The network aims to make research efforts and results more useful and widely recognized, develop new working tools, and encourage new research directions or strengthen existing ones.

Its portal brings together databases and digital libraries created by participating teams and provides a common point of reference for projects working in related fields. It also serves as a meeting place for researchers and supports collaboration toward the future integration of digital resources through a shared interface. The initiative began with an international seminar led by the DIALOGYCA BDDH team at the Complutense University of Madrid, alongside projects from the University of Liverpool and Université Bordeaux III. In 2019, ministerial funding supported the network’s continuation and expansion as Aracne Nodus, incorporating four additional projects and digital resources.
