The journey began when Jay, the co-founder and head cidermaker, discovered his passion for crafting libations while stationed in Sicily with the U.

S. Navy. Inspired by the camaraderie and satisfaction of creating wine, Jay delved into beer and wine making upon returning home.

With over 20 years of experience and multiple awards, Jay's creativity and technical expertise shine through in every cider he produces. Co-founder Deanna keeps everything running smoothly as the boss and coordinator, ensuring that their delicious ciders are always available and that events are well-planned. Jamie, the assistant cidermaker, brings her skills from overseas adventures to help create great ciders and manage events.

Joining the team from Michigan, Jonathon adds his expertise as the main salesperson, getting Red Clay Ciderworks' cider to bars and bottle shops.
