Red Crescent KZ is the largest humanitarian organization in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and a part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Our mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering while respecting human dignity and without discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religious or political beliefs, language, disability, social status, citizenship, age, or any other similar reason. With a team of dedicated volunteers and employees, we offer a wide range of programs and services.

Our organization focuses on disaster risk reduction, emergency response, public health, promoting voluntary blood donation, supporting vulnerable populations including refugees, migrants, and stateless individuals, rebuilding family connections, and promoting volunteerism. Our volunteers, numbering around 14 million worldwide including Kazakhstan, play a vital role in achieving the humanitarian mission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been actively delivering essential items to vulnerable populations, providing personal protective equipment to healthcare workers, conducting information campaigns to prevent the spread of the virus and debunking myths, and offering support to refugees and individuals seeking asylum.

We also mobilize voluntary blood donors, provided assistance to medical workers, and ensured the wellbeing of individuals with chronic illnesses.
