Latvijas Sarkanais Krusts

LSK, the Latvian Red Cross, provides social support and humanitarian services across Latvia. Its network includes more than 20 social centres, offering local access to assistance and community-based support. The organisation also operates a home-care office, helping people receive care in their own homes. Its services include first aid courses, which help participants develop practical skills for responding to emergencies, and humanitarian aid for people in need. Health rooms and other services further broaden the support available through LSK’s work.

With activities spanning social care, health, emergency preparedness and humanitarian assistance, LSK serves individuals and communities in different circumstances. Its centres and programmes bring essential support closer to people throughout the country. The organisation’s range of services reflects a focus on practical help, from learning first aid to accessing home care or humanitarian assistance. LSK’s nationwide presence enables it to offer multiple forms of support through a network of local services.
