Rede Leonardo is an animal welfare association dedicated to defending animal rights and helping dogs and cats find safe, loving homes. Through its adoption programme, the association introduces animals seeking families, including featured dogs, and encourages people to adopt a companion for life. Its work also focuses on promoting sterilisation, monitoring animals at risk, and raising awareness of respect and protection for animals.

People can support Rede Leonardo in several ways: by volunteering, becoming a member, or making financial and in-kind donations. Membership helps fund support for animals, while volunteers contribute their time to the cause. Donations can be made by bank transfer or through PayPal. The association also operates a solidarity shop and shares news and information about its activities.

Rede Leonardo welcomes visitors on weekdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the former primary school building in Trabalhia. For enquiries, it can be contacted by email at [email protected]. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, the association works toward a future in which animals are treated with compassion and respect.
