Redemption Farm

Redemption Farm is an equine boarding, hoof rehabilitation, and breeding operation in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Its approach centers on supporting whole-horse health and restoring strong, functional barefoot hooves through appropriate diet, trimming, movement, and lifestyle. The farm welcomes horses with metabolic and hoof-related challenges, including equine metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance or dysregulation, PPID (Cushing’s disease), laminitis, founder, and navicular conditions.

Boarding options include retirement care on a track system, also known as Paddock Paradise, and EquiCentral rotational grazing. The track system is designed to accommodate horses with special needs and metabolic challenges, while rotational grazing and silvopasture are available for horses suited to healthy pasture. Redemption Farm also provides intensive barefoot hoof rehabilitation boarding on its track system, along with off-site hoof care for select clients in Shelby County.

In addition to boarding and hoof services, the farm breeds a small number of Kentucky and Rocky Mountain Horses each year. Its breeding program emphasizes quality bloodlines and attentive management, including nutrition, environment, and handling intended to support each foal’s long-term physical and mental well-being.
