Redenschirm

Redenschirm is the independent celebrant service of Sarah, who has been accompanying people through personal ceremonies since 2020. Based in Wiesbaden, she creates individual, creative and unconventional ceremonies that make room for each person’s story and the emotions surrounding it. Her work centres on life’s significant transitions, bringing together remembrance, love and celebration under the idea of a welcoming “Redenschirm,” or umbrella.

Redenschirm offers funeral and farewell speeches, with ceremonies shaped to reflect the life and memories of the person being honoured. Sarah also writes and delivers wedding speeches, accompanying couples through their free wedding ceremonies with words tailored to their relationship. For other milestones, she provides speeches and ceremonies for celebrations of life, including baby welcoming ceremonies, milestone birthdays and renewals of wedding vows.
