Redenswert Ortenau

Redenswert is the personal practice of Isabelle Opfermann, a celebrant and bereavement companion based in Willstätt, in Germany’s Ortenau region. Her work centres on using thoughtful, personal words to honour life’s important moments and support people through loss. She offers celebrant-led wedding ceremonies, welcoming celebrations for children, and funeral services, including ceremonies for stillborn babies and young children. Each service is shaped around the people involved, with meaningful memories and anecdotes helping to make the occasion personal.

Alongside her work as a speaker, Opfermann provides bereavement support for children and young people, including those affected by the suicide of someone close to them. She also supports children, teenagers, young adults and adults through grief, accompanies relatives and close companions in farewell rooms, and serves as a hospice companion. Redenswert invites people to discuss their needs personally and offers contact by phone or through an online form. The practice combines ceremony and compassionate support, helping individuals and families mark farewells, welcome new life and celebrate relationships with care.
