About Redfern Cottage
Redfern Cottage is a family-owned and operated early learning and child care centre in Minto, offering a welcoming, home-like setting for children and families. Located a short drive from Minto Shopping Centre, the centre provides care for children aged three months to five years and is open from 7am to 6pm to support working families. Its purpose-built facility includes four rooms, a separate outdoor play area for children aged zero to two, and a large playground with a sandpit, grassy hills, climbing frames and a cubby house.
Redfern Cottage’s programs are tailored to children’s interests, strengths and developmental stages. Experienced educators support learning through age-appropriate activities, play, exploration and positive relationships, with a school readiness program for preschool-aged children. The centre also offers on-site gourmet meals, a rotating menu that accommodates allergies and dietary preferences, and provides nappies. Families receive daily communication through a closed Facebook group and monthly updates on children’s development and interests. Additional services include casual care and incursions such as dental visits and eyesight testing.
