Red Merida Feminista is a diverse and independent initiative based in Mérida, Venezuela, dedicated to promoting open and non-polarized discussions on women's rights in the current Venezuelan context. Our main goal is to advocate for legal, legislative, and policy actions that raise awareness, encourage public consciousness, and sanction all forms of gender-based violence. Since our inception, we have worked towards fostering a more just, equal, and inclusive community respectful of diversity.

Our efforts focus on raising awareness about gender-based violence and discrimination, providing emotional and psychological support to victims, promoting the active participation of women and individuals with diverse gender identities in decision-making processes, collaborating with other feminist and human rights organizations, and advocating for policies and laws that safeguard the rights of women and diverse individuals.
