About Red Ribbon
National Family Partnership is the driving force behind the iconic National Red Ribbon Campaign™, the nation's largest and longest-running drug prevention initiative. Established in 1980, NFP is a grassroots organization dedicated to empowering families and communities to support healthy, drug-free youth. Through advocacy efforts, NFP works to bring parental concerns to policymakers at all levels.
NFP serves as a valuable resource hub, offering prevention literature and educational brochures on key campaigns such as Red Ribbon Certified Schools and Safe Homes/Safe Parties. The Red Ribbon, symbolizing hope and unity against drug abuse, honors the legacy of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, whose tragic death inspired a nationwide movement.
Led by President Peggy B. Sapp, NFP continues to inspire millions through the Red Ribbon Campaign, making a tangible impact in the fight against drug misuse. Join NFP in fostering a safer, drug-free future for our youth.
