Red Sands

Red Sands Country Lodge is a family-run country retreat in the scenic Kuruman Hills, on the edge of the ancient Ghaap Plateau in South Africa’s Northern Cape. Located 15 kilometres west of Kuruman along the N14 highway, it welcomes holidaymakers, business travellers and visitors seeking a relaxed place to dine. Accommodation includes air-conditioned, thatched rondawels for two to three guests, self-catering chalets for two to four, and electrified camping and caravan sites beneath camel thorn trees.

Rondawels feature en-suite bathrooms, while chalets include kitchenettes and braai facilities; shared or private ablutions are available for campers. The lodge’s Red Sands Kitchen serves à la carte meals on weekdays and buffet dining on weekends, alongside a fully licensed bar. Guests can also enjoy the swimming pool, public-area and in-room Wi-Fi, and shaded parking.
