About Red Somos
Red Somos is a social organization in Colombia that works towards the recognition of diversity, human rights, well-being, and sexual and reproductive health. Founded in 2007, Red Somos is a Community-Based Organization that focuses on the recognition of sexual and gender diversity, sexual health, and community empowerment. They achieve this through community services, social research, participation, and political advocacy.
Red Somos specifically works with vulnerable groups and populations, including LGBTIQ+ individuals and people living with HIV. They also address the impact of mixed migration flows in Colombia, extending their services and actions to LGBTIQ+ migrants, refugees, and returnees living with HIV.
