ReefLife Aqua is a UAE-based reefing brand building a connected ecosystem around coral aquaculture, technology, and education. Founded by ocean enthusiasts Lara Nabeel Ailabouni and Rabih Bassam El Zein, the organisation grew from their experience with home aquariums and a shared commitment to the future of reef life. Its work brings together three pillars: the RLA Aquaculture Farm, which sustainably grows aquacultured corals in Abu Dhabi; RLA Connect, a global app designed to help reefers track tank conditions, analyse reef parameters, share experiences, and connect with a community; and RLA Institute, which offers learning, workshops, and experiences within a live coral farm.
The planned app also includes a marketplace for corals, products, and services. Through coral farming, digital tools, and hands-on learning, ReefLife Aqua aims to support reef keepers and encourage a deeper relationship with the underwater world.
