ReFOCUS Media Labs is a brand dedicated to creating a global network of media labs to empower asylum seekers and recognized refugees with modern media creation skills. Our mission is to provide a platform for these individuals to showcase their original work, share their stories, and pursue professional careers.

Through photography, audio and video production, graphic design, media editing, and computer classes, we train our students and equip them with the necessary skills to tell their own stories and develop professional media expertise.

We understand the challenges faced by asylum seekers and refugees, particularly the loss of crucial years of education while waiting for asylum. That's why we are committed to changing this reality and ensuring real futures for our students. While political leaders and systems fall short, we believe that citizens and artists can make an immediate impact on real lives by providing real skills.

With our strong network of international media creators, students at ReFOCUS are able to tap into a large pool of expertise and resources, fostering collaborations and support systems. Our goal is to create a global network that supports our students from their arrival in Greece to their final settlement in Central Europe.
