Our brand, Action for Refugee Life (AREL), is a refugee-led social impact organization based in Kakuma refugee camp, Nairobi. Our mission is to empower, impact, and equip refugees to foster socio-economic development and create a self-reliant future for the refugee community. We offer a range of programs and training courses to nurture digital skills, entrepreneurship, and transformative education among refugees.

Our programs include courses in digital marketing, data analysis, and front-end development. Each course is powered by industry-leading partners such as Hubspot, Google, and IBM, ensuring theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience. Since our inception in 2022, we have made significant progress in our journey.

We have established a state-of-the-art center that serves as a resource hub for learning and provides access to the internet. We have also successfully completed student inductions and launched our first pilot program, with classes held for both morning and afternoon sessions.
