Le Refuge Saint Roch is a welcoming animal adoption center located in Valence, dedicated to finding loving homes for abandoned and rescued animals, including dogs, cats, and small exotic pets (NAC). Since its establishment in 1976, the refuge has provided essential care and rehabilitation for approximately 550 to 650 animals each year, thanks to a committed team of professionals and volunteers. This independent association, affiliated with the National Confederation for Animal Defense, actively combats animal abuse and promotes adoption.

The refuge not only specializes in animal care but also educates the public sobre responsible pet ownership and the importance of sterilization to prevent overpopulation. In 2025, a new modern facility will open in Étoile-sur-Rhône, enhancing the living conditions for its residents. Community support is vital, as the refuge relies completely on donations and volunteer work. By participating in events or making contributions, individuals can help make a significant difference in the lives of these animals seeking forever homes.
