Refugium Ingolstadt

Refugium Ingolstadt is a specialist support provider for adults living with chronic addiction, including people with alcohol, drug or medication dependencies and dual diagnoses. Established in 2007, it helps women and men who have chosen to pursue an abstinent life but need support and structure along the way. Its services are based on respectful relationships, individual support and the principle of helping clients build confidence and independence.

Refugium offers two main services in Ingolstadt and neighboring districts. In Ambulant Betreutes Wohnen, qualified staff support people in their own homes through regular appointments tailored to their needs. Assistance can include managing daily life, housing and finances, addressing debt, finding suitable work or activities, handling appointments and paperwork, building social connections, and navigating crises without substance use.

Its four therapeutic shared-living communities provide a substance-free setting, furnished private rooms and structured group and individual support. Residents work toward stability, sustained abstinence, social and vocational participation, and independent living.
